ESCRICK PARK GLAMPING HUMANIST WOODLAND WEDDING

The weekend is almost here and do I have a visual feast of a wedding for you!! This is Jonnie and Helen’s magical, woodland wedding. Weddings where the happy couple and their pals camp out are the BEST! Up all night and day, no restrictions on the time of the party and you all get to hang out in the morning too 🙂 Jonnie and Helen flew in from Switzerland and did just that!
Tipi’s and rows of bell tents were pitched on the sprawling Escrick Park Estate, near York. The woodland area was all set out with sunflower arrangements, yellow brollies (just in case) and pretty love hearts dangling from branches. Andy, the humanist celebrant was on standby to marry them and Ellen from LND Events made sure everything ran perfectly. With so much going on Helen + Jonnie felt they wanted a second shooter so here’s a big shout out to Zoe Emilie Photography for keeping me company for the day.
After their ceremony we went off site for some shots in a field FULL of sunflowers (swoon) and then back onto the estate to join the party. They were blessed with superb weather and as dusk fell and I headed for home I left a small part of my heart on that field!
Jonnie + Helen…Zoe + I had an absolute blast with you all! Thank you so much for having us with you on your day. We wish you all the very best for your future together in Switzerland. We’ll never forget you OR that field!!
