I’m Georgie Beck, a documentary wedding photographer based in Skipton, capturing weddings throughout Yorkshire, including the Yorkshire Dales and Ribble Valley, as well as Lancashire, the Lake District and beyond.

My job isn’t to stage your day.
It’s to help you feel so comfortable that you forget the camera is even there, allowing me to tell your story honestly, beautifully and exactly as it happened.

That’s always been my superpower.
Long before I photographed weddings, I spent ten years as a newspaper photographer, learning to anticipate moments before they happened and tell stories through genuine emotion.
Today, I bring that same instinct to every wedding I photograph.
I’ll gently guide you when you need it, disappear into the background when you don’t and create photographs that feel natural because they are.
The best images happen when you’re simply enjoying yourselves.
More than your photographer.
I’m not just there to take photographs.
I’ll fasten dresses, straighten buttonholes, make sure you’ve had something to eat, calm last-minute nerves and somehow end up chatting to your aunts and uncles by the end of the day.
I’ll blend into your wedding like an old friend, making everyone feel relaxed while quietly capturing everything that matters.
Because when you’re comfortable, the photographs become something so much more than pictures.
They become memories.

Yorkshire will always be home, and I feel incredibly lucky to photograph weddings across the beautiful northern counties of Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and the Lake District..
From windswept fells and cosy country inns to elegant manor houses, city celebrations and relaxed barn weddings, I genuinely love the variety our part of the world has to offer.

Keeping my diary limited means I can give every couple the time, creativity and care they deserve before, during and long after the wedding day itself.
It’s about giving every single one my very best.
