Remember, remember the 5th of November…well I sure as heck won’t be forgetting this one in a hurry! Vicki and Oliver chose Barmbyfield Barns, near York as their wedding venue and Bonfire Night as the date to become Mr + Mrs Richards. This meant they could incorporate a firework display and hand out sparklers to their guests when the sun went down!!
My first time shooting a wedding at Barmbyfield Barns and a venue I’d love to work at again in the future. Such a pretty, rural location surrounded by open farmland and a huge barn all to yourself, to dress up as you please. A wedding bursting with homemade details, white paper lanterns dangling from every beam possible, rustic red brick walls as far as the eye could see and fairy lights hanging from every wall possible. The ceremony was just beautiful and guests braved the bitterly cold November wind for a confetti shot outside afterwards.
The catering team really went all out to provide top notch food for this wedding and the hog roast at the end of the evening was out of this world!
Guests rocked the dancefloor to a live band and on my drive home at the end of the evening, the sky was littered with fireworks but none could top Vicki and Oliver’s display. Remember, remember…I certainly will!
