Featuring on this blog are the fabulous Mr & Mrs Lister. Jim, Suzanne and their ever so cute little boy, Alfie. Their big day was way back in August on Saturday the 30th. I first met Jim & Suzanne at their home in Cowling to chat about their Bolton Abbey wedding plans and instantly struck a chord with them and their son Alfie, I still have the self portrait he drew in my bookings diary, what a character! We met once again on their pre wedding shoot on the moors above their hometown in Cowling which resulted in some really beautiful shots with the pinnacle as a backdrop and made me even more excited to capture their day. They really wanted natural photography and were blessed with a beautiful August day.
They chose the majestic Bolton Abbey Priory for the setting of their marriage. The Priory sits on the banks of the River Wharfe within the picturesque landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, adjacent to the village of Bolton Abbey. A stunning location with so many photo opportunities.
On arrival to the church Jim & his ten groomsmen, yes ten! were relaxing in the grounds with guests and visitors alike. Suzanne looked truly beautiful when she arrived to meet her man. The sun was shining, the stage was set…the newlyweds strutted up the aisle together and made their way to their reception venue, The Devonshire Arms Country Hotel, where they partied the night away with their nearest and dearest.
Here are a select few from their day.
