11TH AUGUST – STEETON HALL, West Yorkshire.
I do love the occasional local wedding. They feel all cozy and warm, like wrapping a blanket around myself. I always know a few familiar faces and I’m back home with my slippers on and a glass of plonk at a reasonable hour. Friday arrived and it was Tracey and Richard’s day to be married at Steeton Hall.
I’ve known Tracey and her family from when we were primary aged kids and haven’t seen her for years so it was great to see her again. I got to see her get married too. Double bonus!
Speaking to one of Tracey’s friends at her wedding she said,
“This is a day that we never thought would happen. Tracey has vowed from being at Primary School that she would never be married”
Well, Richard. Big kudos to you for being the one that changed all that!
