I selected these images a few weeks back and published a slideshow with them on for facebook purposes but neglected my little ol’ blog page!
Here I am enjoying THE LAST DAY OF MY THIRTIES – Yep that’s right, FORTY TOMORROW, shine a light! I can’t quite believe it but I’m READY. Life starts at 40 right?!
I’m feeling incredibly lucky. Sat in my office in my little 2 up 2 down filled with love, laughter and the odd snarl! One chap, one little lady, 2 cats, 1 dog. Surrounded by ace neighbours, crazy, loyal and fun friends and a magic family that has strength, courage, hard work ethic built in as standard and craziness in equal measure (and we love a good drink).
Now 2019…this is the year it all happens. I’m excited! The year I feel at my most comfortable behind my camera. The year I trade in ALL my old cameras, lenses and leads that are taking up vital cupboard space and swap it all for a shiny NEW system upgrade. The year I get my braces off. The year I feel comfy in my own skin. The year I show up daily on social media (new year resolution). The year one of my fave cousin’s moves down the road to me. The year the husband does his to-do list I’ve been waiting two years for. The year I shoot a wedding in Tuscany – SWOON. The year I get to shoot 30 more fantastic weddings across the UK. The year I meet even more families. The year of making more time for me and my people and finally the year of saying YES to absolutely everything – if I’m not working!
